Colorado student wins Composition Competition

Patrick McBrayer, student of Gabrielle Dugan in Durango, has won the West Central Division Elementary Composition Competition.
The MTNA Composition Competition is a three-stage competition-State, Division and National. Patrick 's composition was the Colorado State Elementary Composition Winner, and the West Central Division (8 states) Elementary Composition Winner. He will compete at the MTNA Final Elementary Composition round at the MTNA Conference in Las Vegas in March 2015.
Gabrielle Dugan teaches piano in Durango, and is the current CSMTA VP for Local Associations. She co-founded the Four Corners Music Teachers Association in the Durango area.
